Volts debut for age-group star Hugo Bogue?

The pointy end of The Ford Trophy heats up with three rounds before Finals, defending champion and the Central Stags out in front, and the Volts heading to Invercargill with a couple of exciting youngsters in tow.

For the Volts it's been a tough summer at the wrong end of the table, but tomorrow in Invercargill may see a debut for one of New Zealand's hottest rising stars.

Right-handed bat Hugo Bogue is fresh off representing NZU19 at the ICC Under 19 World Cup and comes into the Volts' squad for the first time in any format, alongside fellow NZ U19 rep, pace bowler Mason Clarke (18) who has already debuted for the team, playing both white-ball formats last season.

Set to turn 18 later this month, Bogue, from Queenstown, has impressed over the last couple of years at age-group, regional and club level.

Check out the team news to hand below, and catch all the action for free either at the ground or watching the livestreams from Invercargill, Hamilton and Auckland this Tuesday from 10.30am on NZC YouTube.
