ROUND FOUR
Saturday 13 to Tuesday 16 December 2025
From 10.30am:
- Cobham Oval, Whangārei - Northern Districts v Wellington Firebirds
- Hagley Oval, Christchurch - Canterbury v Auckland Aces
- University of Otago Oval, Dunedin - Otago v Central Stags
All the squad news is in for the fourth of eight rounds in this season's Plunket Shield championship, with frontrunner the Auckland Aces trying to stay ahead of the pack and hold that lead before the midseason intermission and everyone's attention turns to the upcoming Super Smash.
Also at stake is the bragging rights to be the top runscorer and wicket-takers as the Plunket Shield completes its pre-Christmas phase, with Auckland's left-arm spin sensation Rohit Gulati looking secure with his 21 wickets already, and Northern's double centurion opener Henry Cooper top of the pops with the blade.
Play is scheduled to begin at 10.30am in all three matches and it's free admission every day, with livestreams at NZC YouTube and on our nzc.nz livescoring platform.
