Williamson in top form

Kane Williamson has continued his superb form for his County Cricket club Gloucestershire, scoring his second century in consecutive matches.

The 21 year-old BLACKCAP continued to produce the goods for his English domestic side with a spectacular 112 off 92 balls against Leicestershire  during their 40 over match.

Williamson came to the crease with his side at 44 for two, but played magnificently for his ton. When he departed Gloucestershire were sitting pretty at 269 for five and went on to finish their innings at 294 for six. The team went on to claim a convincing 164 run victory.

The knock followed another fine display from the Northern Knights batsmen in the First Class match against Yorkshire earlier in the week. In that match he made 111 against Yorkshire, bringing up his second century in the First Class in as many matches.

It brings Williamson’s tally to four centuries in his last six games of cricket – something that will undoubtedly have BLACKCAP fans excited.

Jeetan Patel is another New Zealander having a successful County Cricket season, consistently performing for his Warwickshire side.

In his last match Patel claimed figures of three for 22 from his eight overs, helping to guide his side to a nine wicket victory over Derbyshire.
