New Zealand captain Aimee Watkins has risen 10 places to claim 11th position while team-mate Amy Satterthwaite has claimed 13th in the latest ICC batting rankings.
For Watkins, who completed the White Fern’s five-match series against England with a total of 143 runs, a high score of 68 and an average of 47.66 has achieved her career best ranking to date.
The White Ferns have also been moving up the bowlers’ rankings with Nicola Browne, rising to eighth while her team-mate Sophie Devine has vaulted eight places to claim 14th position.
Erin Bermingham, who took four for 35 against England at Lords earlier this week. has made her presence known on the one-day circuit with a first appearance in the bowling rankings at 32nd place.
Browne and Watkins maintained their third and fourth place rankings in the all-rounders list.
