After getting beatin 5-nil in the One-Day series coach Gary Stead says: "The Twenty20's give us a chance to move on from the disappointment of the ODI matches.
“Four new players have arrived in Hobart - Erin Bermingham, Kate Broadmore, Saskia Bullen and Rachel Priest so they are enthusiastic and add a new dimension to the team.
“We trained well today and the players are looking forward to playing as a curtain raiser to the Australia v West Indies men's match which is a sell out."
Captain Aimee Watkins says:
White Ferns captain Aimee Watkins is confident the team can turn things around, “With two T20's to be played in New Zealand next week and the ICC T20 World Championship in the West Indies in April all the players understand the importance of this format of the game.
“We know we will have to play well as the Australians have all the momentum after the one day series. The T20 format suits our players and we are excited about the next five matches"
