Half centuries from Maria Fahey and Sarah McGlashan ensured extended the White Ferns’ winning start to the ICC Quadrangular tournament in Chennai with a three-wicket win over India.
The pair rescued the New Zealanders from 34 for three, adding 104 for the fourth wickets as the team ultimately hunting down the home team’s 201 with 17 balls to spare.
McGlashan made 55 and Fahey 59, while Sarah Tsukigawa was the pick of the bowling with three for 33.
