New Zealand Cricket has confirmed the venues for the two Ford Trophy preliminary finals which take place on Sunday 5 February.
The table topping Central Stags will take on second placed Auckland Aces at Pukekura Park in the major preliminary match with the winner progressing straight to the final. The loser gets a second life, meeting the successful team from the other preliminary match later in the week.
In Sunday’s other fixture the Otago Volts, who finished the regular season in third place, will host the fourth placed Canterbury Wizards in a sudden death encounter at University Oval.
All matches will be broadcast on Radio Sport and scored live on www.blackcaps.co.nz while the major preliminary match and final will be live on SKY TV.
Gates will open at 10.00am with tickets available from the venue on the day.
