BLACKCAPS bowler Daryl Tuffey will miss the second Test after sustaining a broken hand on the last day of the Test against Australia.
Tuffey, was hit in the hand by a rising delivery from Mitchell Johnson during his innings of 47 with a precautionary X-Ray revealing a broken meta carpal bone in his left hand.
The tall fast bowler will undergo an operation on Thursday, which will determine the extent of damage and the length of recovery time required for the injury to mend.
His replacement, along with the BLACKCAPS squad will be named tomorrow.
