Aimee Watkins and Amy Satterthwaite will lead the North and South Island team in the upcoming women’s cricket series.
The tournament includes two Twenty20 and one 50 over match, played over one weekend at Lincoln with the winner lifting the North/South trophy.
With the Twenty20 World Cup less than a month away the matches will act as a trail for the final selection with the squad of 14 named at the conclusion of the tournament.
Eligibility is determined by the Major Association the player debuted for at domestic level.
