Shanan Stewart has been a regular in the Canterbury Wizards side since the 2001/02 forging a reputation as a big hitting middle order batsman.
Although only 27 he is very much a senior player in the Canterbury set up, “I have played all through the age groups, through Canterbury, as the boys call me a bit of a Veteran in the side," he said.
This week, he got called into the BLACKCAPS squad for the last three One-Day Internationals against Australia.
