Shanan Stewart comes into the team as injury cover for James Franklin and Ross Taylor. Michael Mason will also remain with the squad.
Selectors spokesman, Mark Greatbatch said that Stewart gets his chance on the back of some very solid domestic form, "Shanan is in the thirty man squad for our Twenty20 World Cup squad. He is in great nick, an experienced middle order player, a very dynamic one-day player. We feel he plays the aggressive game that we are looking to play against the Australians.
