New Zealand Cricket has announced the State League playing programme for 2006/07.
The competition gets underway on 27 December with all teams playing in the opening round.
State Central Hinds (pictured), the current State League champion, begin their defence at State Auckland Hearts; Melville Park for two back-to-back, 50-over matches.
The last round sees nearest neighbours playing each other before the competition culminates on Saturday 27 January, with a one-off final at the venue of the top qualifier.
The White Ferns squad for February’s four-team tournament in India, also comprising Australia and England, will be named towards the end of the State League competition.
