Wellington hold second place by virtue of their superior net runs-per-wicket (NRpW) compared to Canterbury. The Firebirds’ 9.024 compares favourably to the Wizards’ 2.841.
Wins in the competition is the first factor to divide teams on level points. However, both teams have had three victories in the competition to date.
New Zealand Cricket will confirm the teams and venue for the final on conclusion of the day’s play.
