New Zealand A will participate in the Buchi Babu All India Invitation Tournament 2009-10, between 16 and 29 August, in Chennai.
The tournament is hosted by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, and includes 15 other teams from across India.
Teams play three rounds of two-day matches in group play, followed by semi-finals and finals, also two-day games.
New Zealand A previously competed in the tournament in 2001, reaching the final against a Bengal XI – the match was drawn. (Note: The New Zealand A team that year included Shane Bond, who will be back at this year’s tournament.)
