Centurion of the first One-Day International Ross Taylor will take no further part in the BLACKCAPS' tour of Africa.
Taylor suffered a blow to the groin in training yesterday and required minor surgery overnight as the BLACKCAPS prepared for the deciding third ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare.
Taylor has been replaced by allrounder Jimmy Neesham in today’s side, while Wheeler replaces Matt Henry. No replacement for Taylor will be called up for the squad in Africa.
Captain Kane Williamson has again lost the toss in Harare and the BLACKCAPS will bat first. The match is live on SKY from 6.50pm NZT.
