Our bonanza of cricket includes visits from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Australia as the BLACKCAPS play four Tests, 11 One-Day Internationals and five T20s at eight different venues from Dunedin to Auckland.
Of particular note is the Boxing Day ODI at Christchurch’s Hagley Oval; the matches being played at holiday venues such as Nelson and Mt Maunganui throughout January and, of course, the popular return of the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy Series against Australia in February.
And just for those of you who enjoy a good stat-chat occasionally, a reminder that BLACKCAPS skipper Brendon McCullum is on track to become the first cricketer in history to play 100 consecutive Tests from debut when he leads his side onto the Basin Reserve against Australia, starting February 12.
