The rain has cleared and the outfield dry enough for play to resume in the second one day international between the BLACKCAPS and the West Indies at AMI Stadium in Christchurch.
The match will be 28 overs per side with a ten minute break between innings.
Jesse Ryder, 20, and Jamie How,4, will resume with Brendon McCullum being dismissed by Fidel Edwards before play was stopped.
