PHOTOS: BLACKCAPS meet Canterbury fans

Hundreds of BLACKCAPS fans, young and old, headed down to Victoria square in Christchurch yesterday to get a glimpse of their favourite BLACKCAPS and get a signature or two.

The likes of Daniel Vettori, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum and Jacob Oram greeted the fans with a smile and a pen poised ready to sign bats, posters and caps.

He wasn’t fazed that his all time favourite BLACKCAP wasn’t there. “I really like Jesse Ryder,” he said, but he was excited about meeting the likes of Ross Taylor and Tim Southee.

All kinds of things were brought down by fans to get signed by the players, however six year old Louis Frew was the only one who had a cast on his arm. “I broke my wrist,” he said. “But I’ve got Daniel Vettori and Brendon McCullum’s signature on it.”
