England faces an inevitable series defeat after Pakistan totally dominated day three of the third Test in Lahore.
Pakistan leads the three-Test series 1-0.
Only one wicket fell, Shoaib Akhtar for a career-best 38, as Mohammad Yousuf and Kamran Akmal scored centuries and featured in an unbroken 199-run stand for the sixth wicket as Pakistan ended the day on 5-446 to lead by 158 runs.
Yousuf was 183 not out, his 14th Test century while Kamran was 116 not out, his highest Test score.
Steve Harmison and Andrew Flintoff worked hard to extract support from the pitch but in the end it was the blades of the Pakistan bats that came out on top.
While Yousuf was more inclined to play a classical innings by working the ball around the field, he did bring up his century with a straight six off Shaun Udal.
He gave only one chance, at 16, while Kamran's solitary chance was when he was on 95, and dropped by Marcus Trescothick at a wide slip.
The pair broke the sixth wicket record between the two countries that had been 145 by Mushtaq Mohammad and Intikhab Alam set in 1972-73.
