ROUNDS FIVE & SIX - T20

Game on! After the completion of the one-day rounds, unbeaten defending champions Central Districts took a healthy four-point lead ito the three T20 games, where a win is worth three points.

But after shock double defeats for CD on the first day of T20 action, and a bounce-back round six win for Auckland after a loss in the morning, Auckland closed the gap to a single point. With Auckland and CD scheduled to meet in the final T20 on Tuesday, the stage was set for an exciting 'Final' for this year's title!

Wellington meanwhile had its best day of the tournament, the giantkillers taking two wickets off Natasha Codyre's final over against CD to get their first win on the board - becoming the first side to defeat the defending champs.
