The New Zealand XI’s first Twenty20 match against England has been rescheduled to Tuesday afternoon, after persistent rain saw Mondays fixture abandoned after 9.1 overs.
The match was called off with the New Zealand XI 70 for one in the first-innings, after they’d been sent in to bat by the tourists.
The two sides will start afresh tomorrow at Cobham Oval in Whangarei, with the match set to get underway at 2:00pm. Entry to tomorrow’s match will be free of charge to the public.
Those who held tickets for yesterday's match will be able to get a partial refund from ticketek.
