Nuttall under injury cloud

New Zealand Under 19 fast bowler Edward Nuttall has been forced to return to New Zealand after breaking his finger.

The left-armer based from Cantebury broke the end of his middle finger on his left-hand while attempting to field the ball off his own bowling during a net session.

The 19 year-old has since come home from Australia and will see a specialist before a time frame for his recovery can be confirmed. It is unknown yet whether Nuttall will be able to take part in the World Cup which starts August 11.

New Zealand are currently in the middle of preparations for the tournament and play four warm-up games before before beginning their campaign against Scotland on August 12.
