BLACKCAPS batsmen Rob Nicol smashed a century to help Mashonaland Eagles beat Mid West Rhinos by 139 runs.
Nicol, who is part of the BLACKCAPS short form squad, was made available to the local side after not being required for the Twenty20 Internationals.
The hard hitting opening batsmen put on 161 at the top of the order with Ryan Bishop (76) before he was eventually out for 102.
Mashonaland went on to get 308 for five and then bowled out Mid West for 169.
