Auckland lead the National Under-17 Tournament at Napier’s Nelson Park after their first round win over Northern Districts.
Having put on 380, Auckland bowled out the ND first innings for 122, taking five for 42 early on day two.
Auckland enforced the follow and ND were again in trouble, eventually folding for 130 in the only outright result of the opening stage.
Wellington claimed a one-run win on first innings over Central Districts, while Otago took first-innings points against Canterbury.
