Wellington v Auckland
After losing two wickets late on day one, Auckland faced a difficult task to get past Wellington's score of 297.

They slumped further, from 12 for two to 28/5, before recovering to 204 all out, leaving Wellington with first innings points.

Canterbury v Central Districts
Canterbury lost their final two wickets for 19 runs in the morning to finish on 277.

CD chased down that score for first innings points with two balls and one-wicket in hand.


Northern Districts v Otago
ND completed an outright win after claiming first innings points, after a quick fire second innings of 155 for eight, declaring after 29 overs.

Having bowled out the southerners for 133 first time around, they removed them for 88 in their second knock, completing a 162-run triumph.
