Sarah McGlashan maintained her fine State League form to give State Central Hinds a 37-run win over State Northern Spirit at Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North.
McGlashan followed her century at the weekend with a patient 59 as the Hinds set Spirit 179 to win. Youngster Kendra Cocksedge hit 28 in a crucial seventh-wicket partnership of 41. with the White Fern.
Louise Milliken was the pick of the ND bowlers with four wickets for 34, while Maree Hannay also picked four wickets in her 10-over spell, while Nicole Brown took 2-25.
Northern’s reply was marred by five run outs, with Browne (35) and Milliken (30 not out) top scoring as they fell to 141 all out.
