New Zealand Cricket today announced that Kruger van Wyk has been added to the BLACKCAPS Test squad as cover for BJ Watling.
BLACKCAPS Physiotherapist Paul Close said: “Watling has been suffering from some irritation around his hip joint.
“We’re monitoring it closely and will know more in the next 24 hours, after he has completed training and had time to rest.”
Van Wyk will arrive in Dunedin later today.
