On batting first...
We didn’t have any plan for this. Thinking positively it doesn’t matter who is batting or bowling. Obviously we were going to bowl first if we won the toss but this doesn’t put any pressure on us, it doesn’t matter that we lost the toss. We started well, lost a wicket and then came under pressure.
On the pitch...
We are surviving well and have to concentrate as the weather keeps changing and it is windy and there is a lot of moisture in the pitch.
On Umar Akmal batting in number three...
Misbah ul-Haq came back he is an experienced player and batted in number five. Umar Akmal can play in number two also or three in the batting order. Management decided this and he played very well. It was not a bad decision.
On the New Zealand bowlers...
Tuffey bowled very well and in the right area. Vettori bowled very well according to the statistics, giving a tough time to us.
