Martin Guptill has had a successful return to his County Cricket club Derbyshire.
Guptill made his way back to England for a second domestic season, after impressing during the 2011 campaign for the Midlands side.
His first match back saw him score a spectacular century in the second innings. After scoring 15 in his first innings, Guptill went on to score 137 from 198 balls. His 278 minute stint at the crease included 13 fours and a six.
His contributions helped his side get off to a winning start with a 202 run win over Northamptonshire.
Derbyshire also won their next game against Glamorgan, but Guptill had little impact with scores of four and zero.
Derbyshire now sit at two wins and zero losses and are next scheduled to play on Saturday against Leicestershire.
