FREE ENTRY for Rose Bowl

NZC have extended the Free Entry initiative to the remaining WHITE FERNS ODIs against Australia at the Cello Basin Reserve on December 21 and 23, following the washout of the first ODI today.

More than 4000 fans were expected to hit the bank today to support the WHITE FERNS in their first match on home soil since becoming T20 World Cup champions, however the match was called off due to rain without a ball being bowled.

NZC Head of Marketing Esther Lawrence expects the newly crowned T20 World Cup champions will garner a good crowd for the remainder of the series.

“We’re pleased to offer Free Entry to fans for the remaining ODIs against Australia,” said Lawrence.

“We were thrilled with the number of fans who’d reserved their free tickets to today’s first ODI against Australia and are disappointed they couldn’t get a game.

“With two matches remaining and brighter weather on the horizon, we’re confident the famous Rose Bowl series is going to be an entertaining affair.

“Our World Cup champion WHITE FERNS deserve to play in front of an emphatic home crowd and we’re confident the loyal locals will turn out on Saturday and Monday.”

Fans can access free entry tickets online by visiting tickets.nzc.nz.

Ticket holders for December 21 and 23 will receive a full refund, and they don’t need to access new tickets for the match as their current tickets will remain valid.

Ticket holders for December 19 can use the same ticket to access the remaining matches.
