The ICC World Twenty20 warm-up match between the BLACKCAPS and South Africa will start at 1.30pm local time after the pitch was considered unready for play.
After an inspection at 8.45am the umpires decided there was too much moisture on the pitch and are expecting it to dry out by this afternoon.
The match at Colts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo was scheduled to start 9.30am today.
