Mayu Pasupati continued an enjoyable first class debut for State Auckland Aces with two wickets as State Otago Volts began their pursuit of first-innings points at Dunedin’s University Oval.
Pasupati took two wickets as Otago made their way to 130 for four at stumps, chasing the Aces’ 226.
The Sri Lankan-born all-rounder's 76 not out helped rescue the Aces from a precarious 129 for eight.
Neil Broom led the scoring on a weather-affected day, making 49, while opener Shaun Haig contributed 38.
