Posted Monday, March 12, 2007 in Domestic News

Mayu Pasupati continued an enjoyable first class debut for State Auckland Aces with two wickets as State Otago Volts began their pursuit of first-innings points at Dunedin’s University Oval.

Pasupati took two wickets as Otago made their way to 130 for four at stumps, chasing the Aces’ 226.

The Sri Lankan-born all-rounder's 76 not out helped rescue the Aces from a precarious 129 for eight.

Neil Broom led the scoring on a weather-affected day, making 49, while opener Shaun Haig contributed 38.
