Abby Burrows took four wickets as State Central Hinds ended State Canterbury Magicians’ unbeaten start to the season.
The Hinds secured an eight-wicket win with minimal fuss after Burrows took a career-best four for 28 as the State League champions were removed for 87 in 31 overs.
Rachel Candy took two Canterbury wickets, including that of Erin Bermingham, who was joint top-scorer with White Fern Haidee Tiffen on 15.
The Central reply lasted just 18 overs, with Sara McGlashan scoring 37 from 36 balls in the successful run chase.
