BLACKCAPS captain Stephen Fleming has won the toss at the Sydney Cricket Ground and chosen to bat first against Australia in his team’s Tri-Series match.
For the fifth game of the series, Hamish Marshall and Michael Mason replace Jeetan Patel and Shane Bond.
Fleming opened the innings with Nathan Astle on a very warm afternoon in New South Wales.
