Day THREE

The bowlers rounded off a complete three days of cricket for the BLACKCAPS on Sunday by dismissing Zimbabwe for 173 in their second innings to win the warm-up match in Harare by 259 runs.

The squad now relocates to Bulawayo to prepare for the first Test against Zimbabwe on Thursday.

DAY TWO

A swarm of bees sent the Kiwi fielders diving for cover, but when they stood up they soon dismissed Zimbabwe A for 114 on day two of their warm-up match in Harare.

Leg spinner Ish Sodhi returned the impressive figures of 4 for 18, but it was the hard work of the quicks up front which set the tone for another dominant day by the tourists.

The rejigged BLACKCAPS order reached stumps at 154 for two, holding a 385 run lead heading into the final day.

DAY ONE

Martin Guptill, Henry Nicholls, BJ Watling and Ish Sodhi all passed 50 as the visitors made 345 for 4 on day one of their three day warm-up match against Zimbabwe A in Harare.

The game is not an official First-Class match, with all 16 members of the squad expected to take part over the three days.

Guptill set the tone at the top with an imperious 74 and once he departed it was the middle order who capitalised later in the day.

The BLACKCAPS getting exactly what they wanted out of the opening day with the second day set up for the bowlers to take charge.
