The tournaments leading run scorer Matthew Hayden blasted 49 off 35 with Jacob Oram hitting 41 off 29 as the Chennai Super Kings made 165. The Deccan Chargers reached the target with three balls to spare with captain Adam Gilchrist making a blistering 44 off only 19 balls and Herschelle Gibbs steering his team to victory with an unbeaten 69.
