Match Summary: The Mumbai Indians have gone to the top of the table after a convincing victory over the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai posted a hefty 197 for six in their first innings, largely thanks to Keiron Pollard who smashed 64 off just 33 balls. In reply Rajasthan put up a solid effort, but couldn’t contend with such a high total. Owais Shah was brilliant with 76 from 42 deliveries, but couldn’t stop the Royals from succumbing to their first loss.

Match Summary: Chennai pulled off a miraculous victory over Mumbai, chasing down a whopping 205,  to win the match by 5 wickets. Chennai needed 43 off the last 12 deliveries and incredibly achieved the feat thanks to Albie Morkel. Morkel smashed 28 off his first six deliveries to put the Super Kings in contention, before a boundary on the final ball helped them surpass Bangalore’s total and secure a famous victory.

Match Summary: Kings XI Punjab picked up their first win of the competition, successfully chasing down Pune’s total of 115. Ryder was run out for the second time in three matches, as the Warriors batting line-up flailed. Punjab eased their way to a seven wicket victory thanks to Shaun Marsh’s unbeaten 64. Ryder also bowled for Pune and was economical, but didn’t pick up any wickets.
