A documentary crew from Sky TV accompanied the BLACKCAPS on their recent campaign at the ICC World Twenty20 in England.
The resulting product is a three-part 'fly-on-the-wall' documentary: ‘BLACKCAPS On Tour – Inside the Camp’.
The crew had unprecedented access to the team during the tournament, from the warm-up training camp through to the team’s dispersal. The programmes will show a genuine behind the scenes look at all aspects of the tour including match day preparation, in the dressing room, training sessions and preparation, team meetings, travel, interviews with players, maybe even a little shopping and sightseeing.
Episode 1 (screening this Sunday) focuses on the team's arrival and the intensive training camp based at millionaire Sir John Paul Getty's private ground at Wormsley, near Oxford.
The programmes will screen on three consecutive Sunday evenings this month on Sky Sport 1, with repeat screenings each week.
