New Zealand have lost the toss and been asked to field in the first Test against India at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
There are three changes from the team that recently played against the West Indies in Jamaica with James Franklin, Jeetan Patel and Chris Martin all returning to the side. Tarun Nethula, Tim Southee, Neil Wagner and BJ Watling are the squad members not included in the starting eleven.
