Yes, it’s true – the Summer of Cricket is almost here!
And with that comes an epic amount of cricket across New Zealand, including visits from Pakistan and the ever improving Bangladeshis; the second-leg of a Chappell-Hadlee Series, and a full-on tour from South Africa.
To help everyone with their summer arrangements, we’re today launching the live promotion of our ticket sales to the general public, which MyBLACKCAPS members can access at discounted rates.
This season our summer campaign is not only talking about the ANZ International Series, but also the WHITE FERNS season and the McDonald’s Super Smash competition.
There’s something for everyone.
Just to recap, the WHITE FERNS are looking forward to a home summer comprising eight One Day Internationals, including the first women’s ODI to be played in Auckland for 12 years.
The WHITE FERNS schedule sees Pakistan visiting before Christmas for five ODIs and a stand-alone T20, and the Australian women’s squad touring in late February to defend their Rose Bowl title.
And we’re this season ushering in an upgraded McDonald’s Super Smash T20 competition, featuring a new, holiday-friendly scheduling window, and a fresh push towards family-oriented times and venues.
The 2016-17 McDonald’s Super Smash will start in early December, be played in predominantly afternoon timeslots and will be hosted in some of the country’s favourite holiday spots, including Central Otago, Nelson, and Mt Maunganui.
Which means that from today, and the launch of our live ticket sales to the general public promotion, you have the chance to join in and Be Part of Excitement.
