Bay Oval hoists "Sold Out" sign

Demand for tickets to the upcoming matches between India and the BLACKCAPS continues to grow rapidly, with tomorrow’s second ODI at Mt Maunganui’s Bay Oval now sold out.

The “sold out” sign follows strong interest across all five ODI and three T20 games of the tour – including the game at Eden Park on Friday, February 8, which is quickly approaching a full house.

NZC’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Stacey Geraghty, said no further tickets were available for tomorrow’s ODI at “the Mount” and encouraged those who had missed out to pre-purchase tickets for Monday’s re-match at the same venue.

“For those who have missed out, there are still some tickets available for Monday’s third ODI at the Bay Oval but I’d recommend getting online quickly to avoid disappointment,” she said.

“There is also some availability for the two matches at Hamilton’s Seddon Park: the fourth ODI next Thursday and the T20 at the same venue on Sunday, February 10.”

Tickets are also available for the WHITE FERNS’ remaining two ODIs against India women at the Bay Oval and Seddon Park on Tuesday and Friday, respectively, and for the three T20s against the same opponent – on February 6 (Westpac Stadium), February 8 (Eden Park) and February 10 (Seddon Park).

Ms Geraghty reminded cricket fans to purchase only through authorised sellers Ticketek and to avoid the risk of buying fake and counterfeit tickets being hawked on controversial online reseller site, Viagogo.

“The last thing NZC wants to see is cricket fans being left disappointed and out of pocket,” she said.

“The best way to avoid that is to buy through through the authorised agents."
