Bates, Devine and Tahuhu to play IPL exhibition match

Three WHITE FERNS have been selected for a ground-breaking women's IPL exhibition match in India next week.

Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine and Lea Tahuhu have been selected for the one-off T20, which will be played as a double-header with the IPL Elimination Final on May 22 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

It's hoped the game will showcase and promote women’s cricket while building a platform for a women’s IPL programme in the future.

Following the match, the New Zealand trio will head to the UK to link up with the WHITE FERNS ahead of their six-week northern tour.
