BLACKCAP bowler Ian Butler can’t wait to get to the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa where the top eight teams in international cricket will compete.
“I think with only the top 8 teams playing there, no matter who’s in your group it’s going to be a tough group, which I think makes it an exciting tournament.
“All those sides potentially could win it, any one of the eight teams could win it. I think with the amount of depth that is building in New Zealand cricket it’s an exciting time for us, especially bringing a couple of players back into the unit, they’re pretty key players to our team really.
It’ll be great to see how we can compete with the other 7 teams.”
