BLACKCAP Andre Adams will not be available for selection for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy Series following Friday’s injury to his left ring finger.
BLACKCAPS general manager Lindsay Crocker said Adams injured his finger while catching a ball during training with the State Auckland Aces and would be unable to play for at least six weeks.
“Andre saw a specialist yesterday who confirmed that he would be in a cast for five weeks,” he said.
“He will then require physiotherapy to fully recover from the ‘mallet finger’ injury.”
