Andre Adams claimed three wickets and Peter Fulton struck a half-century as State Auckland Aces bowled out State Canterbury Wizards for 251 at Eden Park. 
Fulton made 68, the visitors’ leading score, as the inning was wrapped up midway through the 101st over, having been inserted by their hosts.
Adams (pictured) and debutant Colin Munro claimed identical figures of three for 57, although the youngster’s haul came from 18 overs, seven fewer than the BLACKCAPS all-rounder.
The Aces reduced the Canterbury leads by four, without loss, at stumps.
