Central Hinds captain Aimee Watkins struck 76 to set up the 38 run victory over the Northern Spirit.
Watkins chose to bat first after rain delayed the start of play at Cobham Oval in Whangarei and wasted not time getting stuck into the Northern bowling. Her 76 runs came off 48 balls and included 11 boundaries.
The only other batsman to contribute was fellow White Fern Sara McGlashan who hit 13 with the Hinds setting the Spirit 131 to win of a reduced 18 overs.
Kate Pulford struck three times for Northern but went for 25 with Nicola Browne picking up two for 11.
In Reply, it was Pulford and Browne who looked the most likely to threaten the total with 20 and 30 respectively but they needed one them to kick on.
After dominating with the bat Watkins stared with the ball taking three for 12 to wrap up the 38 run win.
