The first Twenty20 International between the BLACKCAPS and India at Visakhapatnam was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a thunder storm.
Heavy rain drenched the ground by 6.00pm with the official announcement to call off proceedings coming shortly after 8.00pm.
The second and final Twenty20 International is scheduled in Chennai on Tuesday.
