Spirit Sneak Home Against Hinds

It was Kate Pulford who produced the goods again at the top of the order for the State Northern Spirit in their Twenty20 match against the State Central Hinds at Blake Park in Mt Maunganui.  Her 61 off 47 deliveries was the key contribution in Northern’s total of 152, with Anna Wilkins making 50.  The Central Hinds chased valiantly but lost wickets at regular interval to finish on 145, seven runs short of their target.  It was a much needed win for Northern who have lifted themselves off the bottom of the table.
