The Central Stags and Canterbury Wizards were frustrated by the weather as their HRV Cup Twenty20 match was abandoned without a ball being bowled today.
The scheduled televised fourth round fixture at New Plymouth’s Pukekura Park fell victim to a large rain band sweeping the North Island which forced both sides to remain indoors.
The Stags’ next match is on Friday at the same venue against the Auckland Aces, while the Wizards now prepare for their game against the Northern Knights at Mt Maunganui on Saturday.
