The weather frustrated the Auckland Aces and Central Stags, whose Ford Trophy one-day match was washed out in Auckland today.
The rain meant no play was possible at all, leaving both to look ahead to their third round fixtures on Wednesday when the Aces play the Northern Knights at Mt Maunganui and the Stags take on Wellington at Napier.
